Questions
What counts as a let unit?
A house, room or shop with a tenant living in it or renting it that month. Vacant units are free, so you only pay for units that earn you rent. Your first 5 let units are free on every plan.
How does the free trial work?
You get 30 days with everything switched on, without entering any payment details. After that you pay monthly for the plan you choose, by M-Pesa.
Can I pay for a year at once?
Yes: pay yearly and get 12 months for the price of 10. Choose it on your Billing page; the yearly bill counts your let units when it's made.
Can I change plans?
Yes, at any time. The new price applies from your next bill.
What if I stop using Rentipay?
You can download all your records as spreadsheets whenever you like (Settings → Download my data), and delete your account if you leave. Nothing is locked in.
Do my tenants pay anything?
No. Tenants pay their rent straight into your own M-Pesa Paybill or Till as usual; Rentipay never holds your money and never charges tenants.
